The prime accused Shaidull carried out this operation of illegal firearms with one Furqan (a name notorious for supplying forearms) at his house in Meerut.
The MO employed by the gang was that they hired expert hands from Munger famous for making the finest of guns and other logistics and raw material to be used rather than smuggling the country-made guns straight all the way from Munger that may hurl an open invite to the cops already tracking the routes connecting the gun-manufacturing-district.
The police along with the guns have recovered a stolen car with DL-7CAL-7297 used for carrying weapons.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Special Cell, Delhi.

The arrest came when HC Parvez Alam received information that two key members of illegal arms syndicate would go to Haryana via NH-1, Delhi to deliver a huge consignment of pistols to their contacts between 11:30 PM and 12:30 AM. A dedicated team was formed and trap was laid on road towards Singhu border, near Tikri red light, NH-1, Delhi.
The police team started vehicle checking by putting up barricades at different points and intersections. At about 12:40 am, a sliver colour Verna car was noticed coming towards them in which two persons were sitting. The duo was identified as Shaidulla and Naseem.
The police team flagged down to stop but Shaidulla, who was behind the wheel tried to pass the police barricade.
When surrounded by the police party, Shaidulla whipped out his pistol and opened fire on the police party. In retaliation, the police team immediately fired in the air only to caution the car occupants. The police party acted swiftly and overpowered both of them only after a brief exchange of fire Upon search of Verna car, 11 pistols were recovered from beneath the driving seat, while 52 pistols were recovered from a secret cavity that was created in the boot of the car by covering the space for stepney with a fiber sheet and closing the sheet with nut-bolts.
Simultaneously, another raid was conducted at Furkan’s house in Meerut, where the illegal weapons were being manufactured and three more Shabir, Intiaz @ Mintu and Obaid were apprehended. 19 more illegal pistols along with raw materials i.e. springs, barrel, magazine length etc. and apparatus and instruments used in preparing these illegal firearms were recovered from there.

Those arrested prepare the illegal firearms as directed by Shaidulla. They further disclosed that Shaidulla brought them to Meerut from Munger, Bihar to manufacture illegal firearms. Shaidulla used to give them Rs. 2000/- per gun.
